WHAT FLUTISTS ARE SAYING

I found the resource packets incredibly useful! A lot of times you can forget little details if you do not write them down in your music when someone says it to you--it's easy to do. Having tips, tricks, and different techniques to use for each excerpt all in one place is extremely helpful and definitely something I will be going back to as I continue to revisit excerpts in the future. It's also a great way to logically think your way through an excerpt (or any piece of music for the matter), to not have so much of a mental block when practicing. Definitely recommended for other flutists!

About the fundamental packets:

“I am in awe of Dr. Tanner’s brilliance as an artist-mentor. Her deep character, intelligence, and humanity are demonstrated in all of her endeavors. These teaching gems are ingeniously crafted and will, surely, stand the test of time.”

WHAT FLUTISTS ARE SAYING

I love these packets. They are super pretty and easy to follow. This makes it intriguing for anyone all all ages. In the packets, I found Chelsea's thoroughness to be super beneficial. I loved when she showed a photo of you demonstrating the balance points/embouchure set up. As always, I love Chelsea's emphasis on objective analysis, no good or bad. In addition, I love Chelsea's paragraphs on descriptive words! Making the player analyze what they want into verbal form is super informative and enhances one's consciousness of what they are doing in order to achieve their goals.
